2002
In
September Dr. Manuel João Pereira from Catholic University in Lisbon,
invite me to instruct "web design" lessons concerning the course
"TIC empresa".
During this year I develop the project "Chairs and Friend".
These four chairs based on four difrent friends: Daniel,
LCC,
Igor,
Petroska.
I also created the prototype of the Riso
Lamp.
In
January I returned to Lisbon and develop work as an Art Director in on-line
and off-line works with clients from Portugal and Spain.

In March I was invited to work in "ifactoria del conocimento"
in Barcelona, as Art Director.

1994
- 1999
In summer of 1994 I created a graphic design project specialised in graphic design, equipment design,
3d prototyping, graphic production management and control, corporate image
management, packing, designing and setting out conference spaces. Directed
and produced TV advertisements for shows and fashion events: "MALÉ " by
Ana Rita Barata (dance); "PLOT" by Jens Waltzeimer (circus); "MAROTA"
by Ana Teresa Real (fashion). Our most important clients during this period
were: BP (British Petroleum), Mobil Oil Portuguesa, EY (Ernst & Young
). Cycled the Santiago Way in August 1999, which led me to return to work
in Barcelona in November.

1993
Completed second year at the Vrije Academie in July.
In November, began producing and directing a video documentary on urban
development in Lisbon, sponsored by Portuguese TV station Channel 4 and
the Air Force. Thanks to their support, we had the use of a helicopter
for aerial filming (Air Force) and of Channel 4's ( T.V.I.) 3d animation,
video post production and audio resources.

1992
Second
year at the Vrije Academei, with the development of three-dimensional
volumes based on geometric and mathematical equilibriums as my base project.
Specialised in: furniture design; graphic design and printing techniques:
xylography (wood-block printing), lithographic printing; sculptures in
acrylic glass, wood, metal.

1991
Produced and directed a fashion show at the Filipa
de Lencastre Secondary School. Took part in a collective art exhibition
at the Caixa económica operária in May. Spent the 3 summer months working
as 3d designer (cad) for Tetraprojecto. In October, began studying at
the Vrije Academei in The Hague, Holland, with "relation of music to three-dimensional
objects" as my base project. Also specialised in video cameras, video
post production, audio post production, video structures, metal and wooden
structures.

1990
Took part in the cinema and video workshop at the
Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon) from 1st to 20th May, taught by
Hanspeter Armman. Completed course at the Escola de Artes e Ofícios António
Arroio - Arts and Trades School (average grade 16 out of 20). As end-of-course
assignment, set up an exhibition in which the exhibits (large format drawings
on paper and photographs) were lit by sunlight brought into the building
through a system of six rotating mirrors. At night, the sun was replaced
by artificial light. Spent the 3 summer months working as 3d designer
(cad) for Tetraprojecto. Took part in the video and dance workshop at
the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon) from 8th to 23rd October,
taught by Wendy Morris (dance), James Byrne, (video) and Deirdre Towers
(production). Produced and directed a fashion show by designer Sandra
Feio for Showmoda 1990. Completed production of the October video and
dance workshop in December (Umatic System).
